The 2024 China International Nickel and Cobalt Industry Forum was held from October 29th to 31st in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Bolian’s General Manager of Marketing, Xue Xiaoning, along with technical supervisors and sales representatives, attended the event.
Representatives from various companies in the industry gathered together to discuss solutions and create cooperation opportunities focused on hot topics such as resource security, industrial restructuring, and green, low-carbon development. Together, they aimed to make new contributions to the high-quality development of the global nickel, cobalt, and other new energy metal industries. Sun Mengdi, technical manager of Bolian, gave a report on the theme of "R&D of Diaphragm Materials for Non-Ferrous Metal Refining."
Currently, Bolian is the designated supplier for the world's largest nickel mine, with nearly 30 years of production and R&D experience, implementing international testing standards and ensuring 100% stable water permeability. The developed product features include low resistivity, precise water permeability, and guaranteed liquid level difference. The diaphragm material effectively reduces issues such as uneven nickel plate thickness, pores, granulation, and liquid injection distortion, thereby enhancing the grade of the nickel plate. These products are used in the electrowinning refining processes of non-ferrous metals, including applications in sulphurization and chlorination systems, such as electrolytic nickel, electrolytic cobalt, and electrolytic copper, etc. Products can be customized based on specific site and operational conditions, and new fabrics can be designed to align with upgrades in electrolysis processes.
